Remembering Grace…
January 27, 2009Last saturday, one of our schoolmates pm-ed me and told me that the remains of Mary Grace Nadela has already been found. She is one of my schoolmates in UE and sadly, she is one of those who perished in the ill-fated M/V Princess of the Stars last June 21, 2008 in San fernando, Romblon.

I have known her for quite some time since I joined COMSSO officers training in 2005, and she’s one of the sweetest persons i’ve ever met, a bit timid and shy but generous and thoughtful.
The news about her being included in the capsized M/V Princess of the Stars shocked me the most, I tried searching for the official passenger manifest list to confirm it and her name really was included in the list. I prayed that she will be ok at that tragic moment. hoping that she will be seen again alive and well…
But months passed and still no news yet…
Until Rey, who is also one of my COMSSO orgmates and also Grace’s boyfriend, told me the news. I know that it’s been hard for him to get over with such a tragic incident that happened to Grace, but because of God’s help he’s been a strong person despite everything.
