To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.

And the blogger bids goodbye…

…To our office here in Pasig.

For two years I was used to the traffic when going here, walking to the nearest fastfood chains for lunch during our payday (KFC, Chowking) and going to the nearest carinderias near our office (when we’re not in a tight budget). Before I was diagnosed with Goutic Arthritis, I used to buy myself a cup of “Taho” after logging in, or buy a burger at BM or if we has some extra money, bought some chinese food at Jade Palace for breakfast.

The office has a nice and comfy feel for us. And this is why I stayed for two years. (and counting)

To be frank, I had a love/hate feeling on our move to the new location in mandaluyong. Lemme just say that I’m gonna miss the laid-back environment that I used to have here… and just comply with the new house rules.

I’m still hoping that the new rules will still change for the benefit for all employees…

Adieu RCC…Till we meet again…

Moving on

June 10, 2010

I kinda admit that I’m not excited to the new office because of the rules. True that the USAP’s new home looks grand but the rules is just disappointing for all who are working here in Pasig. We are all accustomed to the rules here, from the simple dress code to the house rules. We at the web marketing department, were allowed to bring music gadgets like mp3s, ipods, and headsets for our work PCs for listening pleasure while working.  Everything was fun, fresh and youthful.

I will definitely miss the old office for sure.

Getting ready for my departure

June 8, 2010

The office has been my second home for the last two years and even though I had some issues here still I love this place. Aside from the whole of SEO team and my hubby on my side, the office environment makes me breathe despite the tons of work load being given to us on a weekly basis. I can say that I love everything about US Auto Parts.

It has announced last year about the plans of moving to another convenient location in Boni, Mandaluyong. USAP wants to merge the Pasig and Makati offices into one lavish looking office in Cybergate Plaza. The plan itself was great. But as time goes by the reality struck into us.

The new rules has been implemented, and not everyone was happy about the new dress code, workstation restrictions, sharing of workstations and everything in it. It makes me think that despite the fact that we are all excited about the big move in the new office still the restrictions hinders us all from being excited to move to the new home.

Right now we’re now getting ready to pack up some things here in my workstation. I’m gonna miss the building beside Jade Palace that we once called home.

Goodbye RCC center. Thank you for everything.
